10 Superb Ways To Enjoy Dining Without Limits: The Terrace On The Corniche, St. Regis In Abu Dhabi

It was a privilege for me and my husband, Francis, to enjoy a free lunch buffet at one of the finest luxury restaurants in the United Arab Emirates’ capital Abu Dhabi, on August 12, 2016. We were at The Terrace On The Corniche, together with our friend Joy, to celebrate my bestfriend Edmond’s birthday.

1. St. Regis Hotel’s charming ambiance is excellent and exceptional.

The Terrace On The Corniche is located inside St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi. It has well-designed luxurious interiors that made its guests feel very important. The hotel’s grand staircase captured my attention. It was huge, charming and majestic.

2. Visitors are treated with the utmost welcome.

The bartenders welcomed us with unlimited choices of drinks to savor the moment. We tasted their alcohol-free green apple juice and their famous non-alcoholic bloody mary to get started.

3. Exquisite and elegant table settings and centerpieces are perfect for any occasion.

From floor to ceiling and from tables to centerpieces, I noticed that everything is with class. Whether for intimate talks or loud cracks, The Terrace On The Corniche can accommodate all types of events, including birthday celebrations and private moments.

4. The vast array of international dishes is worth paying the price.

We enjoyed their signature American, Japanese, Arabic, italian, and French cuisines with great satisfaction. Some of their best sellers that we were overloaded with are the grilled prawns, sauteed and salted salmon, calamari, lamb and beef steaks, and sushis.

As our plates got full, our tummies were also overwhelmed by the delicious friday brunch. I know that God has already provided for our basic food but I thanked Him even more for blessing us with more than we deserved.

5. Skies’ the limit for the finest and mouth-watering seafood.

We cannot help it and went to and fro their massive seafood stations. Among the top favorites were lobsters, crabs, crayfish, prawns, and mussels. Looking at the huge display of seafood, I was certain that oyster lovers will go crazy about it too.

6. Sushi corners are irresistible.

Whether you fancy Japanese cuisines or not, their toothsome and delectable sushis are difficult to resist. These luscious rice wrapped in seaweeds and fish exceeded our expectations. They are simply no ordinary. The best flavors we liked the most are the gimbap, mango crab roll, california roll, and salmon terrine.

7.  First-rate desserts are overflowing to the fullest, in one dedicated big room.

The highlights didn’t stop with the sumptuous appetizers and main courses made fresh on our table. On the other room next to the main one, we found ourselves dipped with different lavish desserts and sweets. It was all our first time to get to experience having an upscale and dedicated dessert and cheese room.

One day is never enough to go and try all of these but we managed somehow to eat as much as we wanted. Top picks are green tea cake, chocolate marquise, mango mousse cake, red velvet with saffron mousse cake, pistachio delight, vanilla creme brulee.

8. Complimentary passes to the Nation Riviera Beach Club were given away.

One of the perks of having St. Regis’ The Terrace On The Corniche in our dining list is the eligibility for their raffle draw for a free buffet for two. Unfortunately, we did not win but we got the complimentary passes and access to the Nation Riviera Beach Club. I was already thinking of using this for my next special days.

9. Clean and pleasant toilets are provided for the guests.

Access to comfortable toilets is a must for ladies and a necessity for everyone. I loved the ones located near the hotel’s lobby. It is clean, alluring and pleasant. Ladies certainly loved it.

10. The best things in life are free.

Recognizing that everything we have and we are enjoying comes from the One who created us makes a difference. Thanks to the birthday boy who took the effort to share his blessings. Big thanks to the Lord for the overflowing provision. Indeed, the best things in life are free.

  1. Beautifully elegant!
I agree that the best things in life are free – I like to say, it’s free to the receiver but very costly to the giver.
It cost the Son of God His very life – separation from His Father for a time, for us to receive/reject what He so dearly paid for.

Continued blessings of abundance in every good thing to the Birthday Celebrant!

  3. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us salivating voyeurs! Personally, I found seeing these exquisite desserts en masse reduced their impact a bit, making them seem a bit mass produced. I am used to seeing a few desserts in a boutique setting which makes them seem really special.
My cousin lived in Abu Dharbi leading quite an extravagant lifestyle. Looks like fun!

  5. Oh wow! And there I was singing praises to The Palace and here’s a hotel with more grandeur and the feast that could make people resort to gluttony. UAE does everything over the top indeed. Fantastic post! Great marketing for the hotel’s restaurant.
