Din Tai Fung is known for its Chinese and Asian cuisines. We first dined in their Singapore branch years ago. A few days back we had a chance to visit one of their branches, located in Al Ghurair Mall in Al Rigga, Dubai.
The most common way to effectively celebrate a praise report and to thank God for it is to enjoy a sumptuous dinner with friends. We appreciated our their generosity to extend the blessings they received. So there we were!
We all love food, especially when shared with family or special ones. But sometimes it gets so funny that we consume more time to order than to actually eat. So we believed it would be helpful if we give you some feedback on what we believe is best that Din Tai Fung serves.
1. shrimp & chicken wontons
These wontons, filled with minced shrimp and chicken, is unlike no ordinary one. It is too juicy and tasy. (AED 33.00)
2. shrimp and chicken pot stickers
It looks crispy but it is so soft and tender. It is a bit pricey but it is worth trying for. (AED 38.00)
3. chicken xiao long bao
Din Tai Fung offers a variety of dim sums. And this soft, steamed buns with chicken is love. (AED 22.00)
4. chicken corn soup
This classic soup is just perfect for an empty stomach. It is also helpful when you are dining out with kids. (AED 19.00)
5. hong kong style roast duck
For duck-meat lovers like us, this is a definite order. It is one of the best roast ducks we’ve tried in Dubai. (AED 68.00)
6. crispy beef
Crispy beef remains to be one of our all-time favorites! It is a little spicy but it tastes so good. (AED 45.00)
7. shrimp chow mien
We seldom order chow mien in our dining but this one is a must. This Din Tai Fung bestseller is too delicious to resist. (AED 42.00)
8. beef fillet egg fried rice
We made 2 orders of this combo. It just means that it is far from the usual and traditional beef fillet and egg fried rice. (AED 39.00)
On top of this, we enjoyed their do-it-your own sauce. For us, it was a mixture of ginger, vinegar and soy sauce. It goes well with the dim sums.
Of course, any meal would not be complete without drinks. We ordered water and iced lemon tea to staisfy our thirst.
Our dining experience with Din Tai Fung is fun-filled. The food is worth the price. The ambiance is classy. The service is excellent. The crews are polite and accomodating.
