Another Armenian monastic medieval architecture located in the Kotayk Province and near to the Garni Temple is the ever incredible Geghard Monastery which remained to be our top choice.
Museums are built to keep manuscripts of a country’s history, to exhibit painters’ collections, and to preserve proof of artifacts’ existence.
Winter is always the best season for skiing and playing snow balls. Perhaps, the most beautiful one to spending the christmas and holidays. There are a lot of places around Armenia, not only in Yerevan where lights are shining like stars, to get this out from our bucket list.
It was in the middle of the afternoon when we reached our 3rd destination for the day, right after our Geghard Monastery tour. Didn’t know what to find, we made our way up the steps and surprise ourselves with what we saw. It was not the usual kind of day trip. We marveled through back time.
After our breath-taking view of the Ararat mountain from the Charents Arc, we headed off to Garni Temple which is of very close proximity. It is located within Garni Village at the Kotayk province of Armenia.
Armenia is famous for its historical sites and museums. Known as one of the world’s oldest city and the first ever country to declare Christianity as religion, many tourists would dare to see the ruins, manuscripts, and even works of arts of people many centuries ago. One of our favorites is the Sergei Parajanov Museum.
